Increasing Employee Productivity and Satisfaction Leads to Organizational Profitability

Abstract
As the United States struggles to climb past the recovery economic state, companies are forced to continue to adapt practices to increase employee morale and organizational profitability. Human resources play a critical role in developing employees into believers of the company’s vision. Gone are the days of the stereotypical human resource role of hiring and firing. Like sales, in order to maximize an employee’s potential, an employees must develop a productive relationship with their workforce. The following paper analyzes the top small, medium, and large businesses in employee satisfaction and uncovers why these companies experience success; Followed by analyzing a rapidly growing company located in the Fox Cities and providing suggestions on how they may continue to expand while maintaining employee satisfaction and organizational profitability.
One of the most important aspects to improving a company’s profits is to continually develop and maintain good employees. Employees with high moral are more prone to being in agreement with company values and will work harder to increase company value. Many organizations take different approaches to increasing employee productivity. While there is no universal method of employee development and no magic wand to increasing productivity, there are many companies that employee solid tactics to make sure that employee retention is high and that the right employees (one’s that are leading to the most amount of profit for the company both directly and indirectly). Company culture, hiring and development methods, understanding your employee’s desires in the company, and even ways to eliminate bad employees are all pieces of the grand puzzle to making a workforce successful. Understanding employee satisfaction allows you analyze what aspects of your company you can improve and
