Euthanasia (Mercy Killing) – Research outline
I Intro
A. Euthanasia (Euthanasia) refers to the medics of patients stopping treatment or the use of drugs and allow patients to die without pain."Euthanasia" term originated from Greece, meaning "happiness" to death. It consists of two layers of meaning, an easy painless death; Second, painless death.(Fa li)
1. Euthanasia is also named mercy killing. It is the act of putting to death painlessly or allowing to die, as by withholding extreme medical measures, a person or animal suffering from an incurable , especially a painful , disease or condition(etd.fcla.edu)
2. Assisted suicide is legal in only four states currently , but several other jurisdiction are considering legislation on the practice. It has some significant differences. The California proposal does not include a conscience clause that allows doctors to refuse to participate in assisted suicide.(American periodical 12-12)
II Euthanasia law
A The euthanasia law was created by many countries. They are different in different countries, but basically, they are some.
1.Legal status should be given to living wills and other advance directives that would allow people to die with dignity, but mercy killing and assisted suicide should be legally pronibited. (American periodical 18)
B. There were some different Euthanasia law in different countries, which are Switzerland, Germany and parts of the United States. (New Scientist)

Assisted suicide is permitted under certain condition in Switzerland, Germany and parts of the United States, only Belgium, Luxembourg and the Netherlands allow doctors to take steps to actively end a patient ‘s life. Usually, by administering an overdoes of sedative. In Luxembourg, the patients must be over 18, While in the Netherlands children can request euthanasia.(time 12)
