A student who attends Jay Mountain high school was found dead early Saturday morning in the local park.
This teenager is well known as Robert Sheldon a 16 year old sophomore was stabbed twice in the chest before dying in Jays Park.
Sheldon lives with his mom, dad, and a little sister. A local family found him dead while taking a walk; they called the police right away.
Detective Inspector Vijay Singh, the chief investigating officer, appealed to members of the public for assistance: "We need witnesses. Please don’t be afraid to come forward. You can help us find the murderer."
Sheldon was recognized as a great student and a great athlete and did a lot community service. He won an award for most community service hours last year.
The suspects of this case are Ponyboy Curtis and Johnny cade who ran away to Jay Mountain. Memorial Services are being held for Robert Sheldon on Sunday October 13th noon at Tulsa Cemetery.
