Effects of Outsourcing
Outsourcing is defined as a practice used by different companies to reduce costs by transferring portions of work to outside suppliers rather than completing it internally. It is an effective cost-saving strategy when used properly.
Loss of Managerial Control
When you sign a contract to have another company perform the function of the entire department, or a single task, you are turning the management and control of that function over to that company. The outsourcing company will not be driven by the same standards and mission that drives your company.

If sharing proprietary company data or knowledge is a factor for the contract, then this should be looked into clearly. Evaluate the outsourcing company carefully to make sure your data is protected and the contract has a penalty clause in case an incident occurs. It is important to note that the outsourcing company is out to make profit while it remains relevant to their course, selling your confidential information to a rival will not be a challenge considering it is a win-win situation for them.

Rhetorical persuasion tools are important in creating a need to believe in something that one is not supposed to have a strong opinion on. Religion and politics are just but examples that one cannot declare their stand without consideration of others. In the topic on outsourcing, the pros and cons should be considered within shot term and long term impacts of the plan before settling on ether choices. This will create a favorable platform for all stake holders involved.
