Obesity can be caused by different things such as diet, lack of exercise, an individual’s environment and it can also be caused by genetics. Furthermore, to the causes of obesity, there are many health risks of chronic diseases such as high blood pressure which can lead to a brain damage and kidney failure. However, there are early prevention and amendments to these risks such as exercising regularly and eating healthy for a healthy lifestyle. Despite these early preventions, there are treatments to amend the already existing condition, such as gastric bypass surgery but, this is still very much unlikely to provide an individual with a long lasting result because it is only quicker, easier, and therefore, temporary. On the contrary, living a healthy lifestyle, maintaining a good diet and regular exercise are the best way to stay at a healthy weight. Individual excuse themselves from living healthy in the view of genetic cause and some have the knowledge that children cannot be at risk of chronic disease but only adults. It is my belief the harder it feels to gain a healthy life, the better, long lasting and valued it will be.
