Finance department
This is the main department as they have to cover all the budgets for most departments such as the human resource. They include in their budget to help the Logistics & Distribution Centre department to provide new materials or stock holders for products in retail businesses. The financial department have to focus on how to gain that profit in order to support most functions such as:
Logistics & Distribution Centre
The distribution centre is responsible for bringing stock of products to the retail business by air, sea or road. Therefore they would need a van/truck or trains provided to them in order to carry the stock to the business. The finance department could cover this department’s budget and help them gain what

The finance department would provide financial needs in order for this department to promote their brands on the high street and in the media.
Retail Operations
This department helps all the other functions work and support each other in order to achieve on business by communication. They provide newsletters, bulletins and cross department communications in order for every department to be well informed in business. This department is linked with the marketing, VM and press department as they both interact with customers/audience. They provide customer service so that if any of them have queries, they could ask members of the staff. This is an example of customer satisfaction.
Human Resources
This department is responsible for employing people and making sure every staff member feels valued as well as making sure employees have the chance to build up their career. This department works with the finance department because they provide financial support to the staff. These two department works with the Property & Facilities department in order to provide service to the staff. For example, a staff member works 4 hours a day and was paid £300 per month but then asked to work 7 hours a day is given an increase of £400 per
