I think our school looks lifeless and boring and I want our school to be beautiful. I believe that our school will look great when we paint a mural. It will make me proud of our school. A mural would be great because other schools have murals on their walls. I believe that a mural would be good for Strathmore. I think we should paint a mural because it looks so boring without any colour.
I think we should paint a mural because it will look cool.
I believe that we should paint a mural because it looks so cool and awesome with all of the beautiful colours on the walls.
If we make a mural then our school would be more beautiful. Now it looks sad and plain. If we paint it, it will make us want to come to school and it will make us feel proud.

The chamber has shown the affinity and communication of nature and human through its decorative ceiling. There are 34 thematic paintings on panels in the chamber in total, the thematic oval panels on the 4 sides of the room showing religious or mythological scenes, or representing scenes of production process and trade. The object collection itself was stored in 20 cabinets. The arrangement of this hidden vault room is quite unique, instead of showing the collections in a large cabinet, Francesco divided four areas to organize vista of thematic canvases. Earth, water, air and fire are the four governing elements of each side of the space (Figure 1) These wall paintings showed the ultimate personal artistic preference of Francesco. Under each wall, there is a serial of exquisite oil paintings related to the theme. There are 19 of them distributed along the four thematic walls, covering by different oval –framed paintings that indicated the contents in the cupboard. “The paintings of the Studiolo concealed cabinets containing the dilettante prince's collections of precious gems and artifact.”…

Figure 3: News, 1991, Jan Senbergs I was also attracted to another painting, News (1991) by Jan Senbergs (see Figure 3). Due to its large size and appealing colour pallet of blue and browns, this piece at first, appeared quite aesthetically attractive. However, as I viewed the work longer and read into the piece, I saw the not so pleasant, surreal mechanical forms and the harsh brushstrokes that were created by the textured and expressively applied paint. These elements created a feeling of discomfort within me. This artwork was supposedly painted in response to the Gulf War of 1990-1991, where Iraq invaded Kuwait (Australian War Memorial, 2017).…

The Procuress is hung on the wall that would form part of The Concert painting that Vermeer is painting of his patron van Ruijven and his daughter and sister. I think that the author had Griet focusing on this painting to remind her who she was. In other words, it encouraged her to remain decent, and humble. On page 186 van Leeuwenhoek said to Griet, “Take care to remain yourself.” When Griet srated to work for the family she was exposed to a different environment. While working there she was also reminded a maid who was in a painting a long with van Ruijven, who then was discovered having an affair with her master and ended up having a child of his. He reputation was destroyed, and Griet feared that the same would happen to her as well. I think that Vermeer has come to see Griet the way that the girl in the the painting is portrayed.…

The first art work chosen was a figure by Myron of Athens, Discobolous. The Discobolous, a Discus Thrower, is a Roman marble copy after a bronze original of 450 BCE. A picture of this piece is shown below, figure 1. This piece of art work is simply amazing and exemplifies the Greek sense of harmony and balance (Petronius, 2008). The artist depicted the statutes of that time, a male nude figure, which seems to express freedom of movement and the Greeks idea of beauty. Furthermore, this artwork exemplifies the role of the artist through a representation of human strength and values.…
