The Buddhist don’t completely disagree with medicine, however they do strongly discourage medication that may alter the mind, as it may have a negative effect on their afterlife. Like many other religions death usually takes place at the home where they are surrounded by loved ones and monks. Like the Buddhist I also believe in an after life, being catholic, during a time of death I think reconciliation is very important, I personally would want to confess any sins I may have, by doing this I would have a sense of comfort, I believe it is important to leave on good terms and resolve any issue I may have with someone. Lastly I think it is important to have a peaceful death, one where there’s no suffering with love and support from family and friends. There are a variety of similarities and difference on death depending on religion or spiritual beliefs however one thing that is universal is a peaceful death.
