Research has shown that panda bears will spend up to 2/3 of a day feeding and the other 1/3 of the day they will spend resting and sleeping (OneKind). Also have you heard that pandas are skilled tree climbers and swimmers. Pandas will even travel up to 4,000 meters to feed on higher slopes in the summer (OneKind). You may wonder if they travel this much for food , what do they eat! Some of a pandas favorite foods are plant stems, tree leaves, and young bamboo shoots. So they are mostly herbivorous (EOL)!

Sometimes if a panda feels in danger then they will hide out in trees from their predators. Pandas may hide from brown bears, wolves, leopards, and jackals. Sometimes pandas may be quick enough to escape so their predators have a hard time catching
