Paper Towns By John Green Essay

In the story Paper Towns By John Green is about a boy named Quentin Jacobsen and a mysterious girl named Margo Roth Spiegelman as as they pull of an all nighter while they run around the whole city pulling pranks and schemes. Q has known Margo since they were little kids and he had always had a crush on her but they have grown apart. One night Margo climbs though Q’s window in the middle of the night and asks for help. They run around town pulling schemes and messing around. Then the next morning…. Margo goes missing. She had always left little tiny clues like breadcrumbs. And it was up to Q to find her.
Papertowns takes place in Jefferson park, Florida in the year 2015. Margo and Q are both seniors in high school and their prom is coming
up. One random night Margo comes through Q’s window and asks him for some help. She is begging for him to drive her around town for her mini plans which include a getaway driver. Pulling the allnighter with Margo Roth Spiegelman on a school night for Q… was a dream came true. Margo plans to get revenge on her ex boyfriend,ex best friend, and 9 other plans . Margo takes Q to the business part of Orlando to the SunTrust bank building to check their progress. Afterwards the head over to seaworld for the last stop of the night. It is about 5:30 in the morning and they just make it home before sunrise. Q knew it was a best night ever and that he will always remember it.
In the morning Margo goes missing she didn't show up at school for a few days. Quentin starts to worry about her cause he thinks he was the reason why she left. After having a talk with Margo’s social worker and her parents, Q found out that Margo would leave tiny clues when she would go missing. She was a very mysterious girl and was just plain right confusing. Q was very motivated that he would be able to find Margo with the help of Ben and Radar. He was able to find some clues that Margo had left and tried to put them together. They all decide to go on a road trip to find Margo. Lacey decides to join along and just wishes her best friend is safe.
Quentin, Radar, Ben, and Lacey are heading up north towards New York in search of Margo.
Lacey said that Margo hinted about New York and some clues they have collected, it all made sense. The guys and Lacey head up to Agloe New York where they might find her. Q see’s an old barn house up ahead in the middle of nowhere and thinks he sees Margo’s car parked in front of it. They all drive up to the abandoned building and find Margo inside writing away. Lacey and Margo have a little fight and lacey leaves the room with ben and radar. Q and Margo start to fight as well but then they forgive each other and just talk for a little while. Outside they end up burying Margo’s journal and she is about to leave for another adventure. She wants Q to come with but he can't. Margo then kisses Q goodbye and promises that she will call and email. And with that Margo has left to who knows where leaving everybody else to wondering where she has gone…. The theme of this story would be to chase whatever you want in life and it doesn't matter what you will and will not leave behind. I believe this because i feel that Margo doesn’t like her life in Orlando that she only wants to forget about it. And she felt that she had to leave all at once right away or else she had no
chance.
