Firstly, when teenagers make their own decisions, they will learn about responsibilities for the corollary to their decisions. In my experience, when I graduated from high school, my parents let me choose the university that I would study. It was a crucial decisions because it would change whole my life. I had to choose a university that suit to my study's ability. My parents were always next to me and they supported me a lot. It was a difficult time to me. I wondered why my parents didn't choose for me. But now, I have understood that no one can help you make your decisions except you. I learn about responsibilities for my decisions. Although I have some problem with my current university, I feel very happy because my decision is right.
Secondly, when my parents let me make my own decisions, I become more independent and confident. I realize that my parents will not always be next to me all the time. Someday, they will leave me forever. My parents have taught me about independence when I learn the way to make important decisions. If you make a important decision for you, you can make more important decisions. When I went to university, I decided to study Business Administration by myself. Those decisions not only make me feel more independent and confident a lot, but I also have independent personality.
