Park Descriptive Writing
Finding my self within the middle of nowhere, I gaze the crystal moon standing with the exception of the coal black sky in the midst of lustrous crystal sparkles. The mist grasped within the air obscuring my vision like peering through a ocean of grey. The glow was dimming, producing new dark virtual portrayal patches around me. The wind hastily howled between abnormal branches, conveying the scent of rich tree decay. The air is thick, clammy with the puff of mouldering of leaves. The constant ticking making the night seem endless. Way on top of me the arms crooked and twisted like distorted limbs reaching out towards me. The enormous mass towered me, producing a shadow pool in my sight, at every step. I apprehend I'm not alone. Overhead, stand …show more content…
I dodge an enormous tree plummeting down the slender concluded slope. I continue striding forward across the mystic jungle. I notice a path and pursue it. A rough well-worn path boxed by a putrid inexperienced coat. It continues underneath a fair amount of trees, with light streaming through the verdure, before undulating out of sight. This escorted me to a gargantuan mansion. Feeling a cool shudder trickle down my spine, I nervously look at the guarded by black steel railing, the derelict, remote mansion. The railing was connected with razor sharp daggers; as sharp as a shard of broken glass. Swimming round the mansion sharp edges, with ancient carvings of symbols. Encompassing the mansion, sapphire statues of metal like dragons. The dragons were threatening to the human eye, intolerable to …show more content…
There's a peculiar dim light, on one of the shattered windows. The chilly breeze hit my face, consuming my very own fright bit by bit. Droplets of rain began to pound the earths subtle surface. I tilt towards a abundantly vibrant gleam and descry a sooty cloud hovering me, this was a inevitably a trait of a brutal violent storm. Lightening began to roar from the anger of the violent and severe, storm. I drag my self towards the mansion. Reaching the highest of the steps, I torment my self with worry, like walking the steps to hell. Slowly and anxiously I approach the door. It was irresistible for me not to open it. What horrors lie on the other side? This question endlessly evoked my mind, mortifying my

As the wind screeched ominously and the lightning crackled in the sky, the people decided to retreat to the warmth of their houses. The candles were dimmed and the shutters were closed and the streets were mostly deserted. The storm blew all night and the next morning dawned fresh and blue. Nobody would have thought that just the previous night, an ugly storm had brewed up in that place.…

It seemed like I was wandering into a different dimension. My senses were becoming acquainted to new feelings: guttural whispers, excruciating odour, ponderous glass-like air and the cemented, pungent, taste of death! As I opened the door candlelight rose to greet me but who lit them? I was informed that the secluded house I was purchasing has been unoccupied forever.…

I glanced out of the train window, watching the scenery speed away. Mighty oaks, bristling firs and radiant maple trees were all transformed into no more than colourful pins. The seat beside me lay vacant, as what once sat a wonderful and lovely gentleman, no longer shares with me the long trip home. I stare at the endless mass of space, overshadowing the Earth. The grey radiant clouds, together, began to form a distinctive image of his face, shaping his luminous smile almost to an exact. The subconscious image the clouds attempted to portray, vanished in a matter or seconds, as the white, thick clouds, spread its wings in what was forecasted to be a destructive path. Witnessing this brings me back to the day God wept a silent rain among the mournful souls.…

We hit a clearing and drop, the world spinning around us, soft grass comforting our throbbing body, the smell. The smell, what is it? It’s new and fresh. We open our eyes and are stunned by the sight. The darkness drowns us, but it is softened by something beautiful overhead; stars, all of them, completely beautiful, each one on its own and every one together. Simply magnificent. We close our eyes and relax, as it seems for the first time in our life, we are completely at peace. Before we know it, its…

Rustling and crackling mocked me like the darkness of the shadow, as I took every step. Branches twisted like distorted limb as if trying to grasp hold of me. The malformed mass towered over me, casting sinister shadows. As I walked closer, a brown sign emerged, “Redwood Forest”. Grotesque graffiti scribbled from the dying trees to the dilapidated sign, “Moonlight’s Curse”.…

The acrid curses that followed only led me to tear more, but the bittersweet aftertaste of each tear soothed the pain in my wound. Slowly it recovered and the bleeding had stopped, casting the last tear into the puddle beneath. ~~~ Dark, gloomy clouds infuse the horizon as the prolonged day tardily transformed into the polar opposite of light. A droplet of rain water landed on the side of my cheek as we stared at above.…

The turbid water gently engulfed her leather boots, tarnishing them more and more with every step. The street lights issued a lambent, orange glow into the surrounding area, accompanied by an ominous feeling that threaded through her every breath. The familiar throbbing of her pulse in her ears, the very testament of her existence, was slowly retreating. Instead, she could feel her anxious heart clasping the fabric of her chest tighter with every street corner. Rubbish floated aimlessly about the empty street as the moon sailed across the night sky like a ghostly galleon.…

It is also a place where not many people can get to, let alone get out. The plantation’s beautifully ornate mansion, whose grand fixtures could not even illuminate the dark forest, even though it stands tall and proud, almost as if it was an overseer to protect its inhabitants. A little ways off from the house, but far enough that its protective shadow falls short, is…

    4. (a) The descriptive details of the interior of the house that suggest the narrator has entered a realm that is very different from the ordinary world are details such as the narrator felt that inside the house he “breathed an atmosphere of sorrow,” and that there was “irredeemable gloom that hung over and pervaded all.” These details foreshadow that the things that will happen inside the mansion are going to be much more sorrowful and gloomy than things that could ever happen in the ordinary world.…

The crack of gunfire in the defining darkness drew him from his sleep. He silently awakened his raw-boned family. Sitting up and listening to the pandemonium which lay outside of the windowless skyscraper. The fire danced around creating demonic shadows upon the walls and across their gaunt faces. The man held his wife’s only hand as they rolled back to their sleep. The lemon soured light beamed throughout the city resting like a gargantuan beast, overpowering the horizon. The Dilapidated buildings, the burning city, a destroyed world. Once again he was first to rise.…

Riding astride the breeze was a light, refreshing scent evocative of sunset, more alluring than any earthly perfume. These twin sensations, mingling in the radiant warmth of the evening, embraced me; and, like a siren’s call, beckoned me towards the world that lay beyond the confines of my chambers. Even though I was weary from the day’s exertions, I found my feet moving of their own accord, leading me towards the glass doors that sat flush against one side of my chambers. I felt my palms push against the panes of glass, still warm from the heat of the evening sunlight, and the doors gave way, parting before me to reveal a palatial garden overlooking the rest of Lyfa. Neatly trimmed grass brushed against my bare feet as I drifted across the garden, towards the intricately decorated balustrade that lined its edges.…

In viewing the sublime town, I move at a languid gait, despite the fact that it is midnight. The phase moon is visible as a fully illuminated disc that is encircled by shimmering stars; which creates an atmosphere that makes me feel unravel. Below this stupendous sight is a barren house that is totally in contrast to the scenery above it. The house is dark and is surrounded by white clouds; however the luminous light from the moon shines on this haunted house. Some of the windows are broken while some are cracked and filled with moulds. The roof is large and has several apertures and is falling at the seams. It lacks iridescence as it embeds only one fainted colour – grey. I quiver as the cold breeze blows, and the smell of mist fills the air and the leaves around the house arise. I am now in a state where my mind is not lucid, as I muddle whether I should return home or to continue this haphazard adventure.…

At the end of the road was a narrow, overgrown trail, that followed along the sloping edge of a branch head. At the end of the trail, it felt like stepping out of a hallway into an open arena.
