Lettie, one additional point to add on to your analysis that I found interesting was that the option of not changing the strategy should also be considered (Parnell, 2014). In my particular field, which is healthcare, we are constantly adapting and changing our processes in order to provide better care. However, sometimes our propensity for constant change and improvement can cause unnecessary errors and can result in patient harm. While this is not necessarily a strategy in the business context, the principle remains the same. Sometimes, it may be better to make the decision to not change current strategy. However, Parnell (2014) does point out that not changing should not necessarily be considered the safer option just because it is familiar
