Part 2: What Makes My Life Worth Writing About? This world is full of people: young and old, man and woman, successful and poor, goofy and serious, stubborn and forgiving, outgoing and shy, and the list undoubtedly goes on. What makes someone’s life interesting and worth writing about? Simply the differences written in bold across a child’s skin tone, a woman’s stature, or the scars almost completely forgotten beneath a thin fold of wrinkles on an old man’s body are what compels writers to write and readers to read. All of our different experiences have created a masterpiece out of all of us, we just have to view our stories correctly. We all have something to contribute to this world because every person has a different story written by an author who makes no mistakes. If someone were to ask me the same question now, however, I would confidently let them know that every single thing about me, and about every living soul for that matter, is ‘story worthy’ because the Lord really knows how to write. Now, granted when someone lifts the pen out of God’s hands and begins to write their own story, it becomes either a broken mess or something that looks appealing but will soon become a broken mess. Such autobiographical writing does not bring about anything good until the pen is given back to God and the reader watches in adoration as mistakes are erased and replaced with just the right words. My life is worth recording because God has a purpose in sharing it. This is exactly what I’ve witnessed God do, fixing my story up so He can then put it brightly on display to influence everyone He wants me to share it
