As someone who would be considered to be ‘old school’ by the members of today’s “Digital Age”, I have assimilated / adapted and learned how to take full advantage of the opportunities that have been presented to me. Nowadays, thanks to social media, anyone who has the desire, can have a voice. Social media has become an integral part of our everyday lives. We find and share our new favorite clothing and food brands on blogs; we meet people with similar interests on Facebook; we get our news in one sentence on Twitter; we share a picture of that fabulous crawfish etoufee we had at a restaurant while visiting New Orleans during our vacation on Instagram; and we can even find our future husband or wife on dating sites. We have an amazing ability to be connected, stay in-the-know and share our own interests, ideas and opinions on just about everything.…

During the height of the technological revolution of the 21st century, there has been increased controversy on the costs and benefits of a technology-driven society. While it is easy to point out the over-excessive amount of time the public spends online, many fail to see the much more favorable aspects provided through a more interconnected world. Technology is helping amalgamate the world. The use of elements such as the internet and social media grant access to a vast expanse of information, establishing both a local and a global community. The concept of community is being transformed from a physical group of people to a virtual network as people all over the world have increasingly more access to connect with one another.…

First Tybalt is one of the people who are responsible for the tragedy. Tybalt hated the Montagues already, and when Romeo showed up to the Capulet party, Tybalt overreacted and got angry at Romeo and that made him angry and resulted in killing Mercutio (I, i, 55-96). Lord Capulet said, don’t do anything to Romeo, but Tybalt didn’t listen because he was too angry for Romeo even being at the Capulet party. Also If he had just little kindness in his heart, Mercutio and Tybalt would’ve lived and Romeo wouldn’t be banished (III, i, 112-128). This resulted it in Romeo’s banishment, and in the end, his death, along with Juliet. Romeo’s banishment led to Friar Lawrence’s plan and Friar Lawrence is also responsible for their death from his own Plan…

The news is full of depressing stories such as homicides, robberies and so forth, the reality is that teens are the future. Adolescents will be the leader of tomorrow. Even though most people think teenagers are lazy and good for nothing, they are not. Young people should be aware of what is going on in the world since one person can make a difference. For example; Robert Heft, a seventeen year-old, designed the fifty-star American flag. Joseph Bombardier, a Canadian boy, invented the snowmobile at the age of fifteen! If young adults have knowledge of the injustice that is happening in our planet today, then there will be at least a couple of them who will try to change the reality.…

To study the internet as a cultural artifact involves looking at how a means of communication is used within an offline social world. To study the internet as culture, on the other hand, means regarding it as a social space on its own right, looking at the forms of communication, sociality and identity that are produced within this social space, and how they are sustained using the resources available within the online setting. The claim that the new media sustain online social spaces that can be inhabited and investigated relatively independently of offline social relations has been advanced on quite various grounds, and from the earliest days of the internet. We can summarise them in terms of four properties: Virtuality, Spatiality, Disembedding and disembodiment.…
