It seems ambiguous whether the Kindle Fire can be categorized as a tablet or e-reader. Nowadays, these two terms are looking and performing quite similarly thus making it difficult to tell them apart. There are some important differences between the two that will prove useful in making this distinction. The first is screen size as the Kindle Fire has a 7-ich screen, which is consistent with most other e-readers. In contrast, tablets come in a range of sizes but some of the more popular ones such as the i-Pad can have 10-iche screens. Another key differentiator is the software in each product; the i-Pad runs on the iOS, which has extensive online stores that have thousands of apps. They allow for a lot of options when you can have the option to download a second web browser outside of the one pre-installed. The Kindle Fire runs a special proprietary version of Android owned by Amazon with fewer features and available apps.…
At the end of the day, all PE really is is a way to get students to not be sitting all day. As it turns out, sitting for prolonged periods of time is rather harmful towards one's health. Students sit anywhere from 5 to 6 hours in an average day of school, and PE can help offset the hazards of sitting for that long. However, the reason that most students are reluctant towards PE is because they are unaware of the hazards of sitting for too long without moving. If they were educated on these dangers, along with PE being more sports-based and non-graded, perhaps students would actually enjoy PE and be encouraged to engage in non-mandatory physical activity. With that being said, some students would probably still be reluctant to participate. Since PE would be a non-graded class, there’d have to be something in place to make participation mandatory. My personal suggestion is that non-participation would result in forced physical activity i.e. running…
The coursework and field experience this semester made me realize how important it is to know my students and how to engage them. I experimented with different ways to engage my students over the course of the semester. The experience taught me that the students were more focused and that I grabbed their attention when I actively engaged them in the process of learning. During the first couple of lessons, I read and they answered questions. After the first two lessons, I started engaging them more by allowing them to read, write, draw pictures, and pretend to be the characters from the books. I started to realize the more that I gave them; the more they wanted. I also realized that knowing my students helped me decide what types of activities I chose. Some activities I chose at first I decided to change because after I thought about my students and their interests I decided that it would not work for my students. The lessons are…
Marketing services is Marketing People. When a customer signs an underwater IRM contract, he is buying a service to be performed. In the end, he will be the owner of a tangible product, Inspection Report, but the quality and cost, as well as the suitability of that report as a solution to his problem depend largely on the services rendered by the contractor. The buyer's best evidence of the quality and competitive superiority of the service he will buy is the impression he gets of the professional capabilities of the manager and staff of the contractor. Therefore, the selling and creation of satisfaction for the buyer before, during, and after executing of the work is the responsibility of the diving firm's personnel who interact with the customers and who are assigned to the project.…
