In this whole word, there are 17 kinds of penguins. Penguins come from aquatic group. These friendly birds live in the Southern hemisphere, mainly in Antarctica. They have adopted their bodies to the cold water and ice. All penguins live in the cold climates and are native from Southern hemisphere. Only the 15% of the penguins live off to the South also some found in the temperate zone. Moreover, I did my report on the largest and biggest penguins which are the Emperor Penguins. The interesting thing that makes the Emperor penguins look different from the other penguins is their mating method. Also, they are the best swimmers of all. The Emperor Penguins are 110-130 cm tall, and their weigh average is 34.05kg.Emperor Penguins age about 19.9 years. In fact, males weight more than the females. In addition, male Emperor penguin a stand on the ice for two months to protect their eggs and during this time, they do not eat anything. Due to this, they end up losing about 12kg of their weight. Like all of the Penguins, Emperor also contains a streamlined body which minimizes the drag while they swim. Their tongue does not let the prey escape. Both the males and females are same in size. The adults have black feathers which cover the head, throat, chin, back and tail. They have white belly and under parts while the breast is yellow. The bill of the Emperor Penguins is black and ears color is white. These birds are on disadvantage nowadays due to the climate change. A colony of the Emperor penguins on the island of West Antarctic Peninsula has gotten disappeared.
