People Are Really Good At Heart Analysis
What are your views on humanity? Do you think people are good? Do you think that they are bad? Well, Anne Frank, a Jewish teenage girl who lived during the Nazi invasion of World War II, thinks people are naturally good. This is shown in one of Anne's famous quotes, "In spite of everything, I still believe that people are really good at heart." The quote was written in Anne's diary during her time in hiding from the Nazis. Alone, the quote shows that Anne is a good person herself, hopeful and is innocent and young. This quote shows that there is still good in everyone, even in your darkest hour. Anne saw that goodness. Maybe in the Nazis’ mind they might have thought they were helping each other to make the world a better place. Even though in the world today we may not be able to comprehend why someone would do such a horrific thing. Anne saw the Nazis’ perspective and knew it was wrong. That could be why Anne said she thinks that people are naturally good. This is what Anne Frank's quote reveals about her personality.

Anne Frank is someone who influenced history long after she was gone, because of her courage, bravery, and willpower that got here and her family through the tough times up until they were seized. Though Anne died at age fifteen in one of the camps, we still see her today as such an accepting human being throughout her life. In one of her very last entries Anne stated, “In spite of everything, I still believe that people are really good at heart.” This entry proves her beliefs beyond measure that all humans are good people and mean for the best in their own lives. This statement alone expresses everything people need to know about Anne and who she was as a person this shows a maturity level way beyond her years as a young girl of only thirteen…

    | Anne says this in frustration after Mrs. Van Daan yells at her for spilling milk on her coat. This expresses another Anne because it suggests that Anne sees herself changing, that she envisions a different self. I feel that Anne says this because to her, everybody in the Annex shows more favoritism to Margot then her, especially her mother. On the outside it seems Anne can’t always control her temper, as she strives to be more like Margot, who is patient and calm. On the inside, she is jealous of Margot, wanting to have more of an attitude like hers, and convey a better personality to others, contrary to what she’s done. Also Anne is younger, so it is understandable that she'd look up to an older sibling. I can relate to this because many times in our family, I feel as if my parents favor my older sibling over me. I have the same feelings as expressed in this quote, as it is hard to be more mature than somebody older. This quotation suggests change in Anne, as she herself wants to change, and be more socially civil rather than her normal self. Though it conveys negativity on Anne’s character, as she is losing her temper, it also shows maturity, as she is maturing. This quote shows that she is maturing because she now realizes her impact on others, and wants to be more like Margot, who is quite a role model to her. Some questions that occurred were: * Will Anne keep maturing as she is already? *…

this shows that she is realizing her mistake in mentioning hate about her own mother. And that Anne feels bad about it. She also says, ‘’ i should have been so brimful of rage and really so filled with such a thing as hate that i had confide it all in you. The Holocaust was an event that changed history in the eyes of many. It started as a minor German government problem. It then grew into a worldwide scale problem and ended up with over 10 million dead. It had many emotional and physical scars implanted in thousands of others. Gruesome things happened. My perspective of Anne Frank’s quote is that making a change in the world is relevant to the concept of time and where you live. A definition of compassion from Dictionary.com ’’a feeling of deep sympathy and sorrow for another who is stricken by misfortune, accompanied by a strong desire to alleviate the suffering.’’. Anne Frank was a compassionate person because she truly cared about every single person in that Annex. Anne might have gotten on everyone's nerves and they could’ve got on her nerves. Although, I believe she cared because the way she would talk to everyone. Also when Anne gave everyone in the annex a gift even though she knew she wasn’t going to get…

Anne may be living in terrible conditions, but she sees it in a positive viewpoint saying that it is like being on vacation. It can be argued that this positive attitude did not help Anne because she ended up being killed during the Holocaust. Anne may of not survived the Holocaust because of her positive attitude, but it made it easier to live and enjoy life in the terrible situation. Anne also made it better by making the living conditions more cheerful. Anne wrote, “Thanks to Father--who brought my entire postcard and movie-star collection here beforehand--and to a brush and a pot of glue, I was able to plaster the wall with pictures. It looks much more cheerful” (374). Anne once again is making the best out of her conditions by decorating her room and making it more cheerful. People also got through conflict by looking at the good things in life and blocking out the negative things. In Dear Miss Breed, there was a letter from a girl by the name of Louise Ogawa. Louise was being sent to a relocation camp in Arizona. The letter…

She is young and has not experienced life to the fullest so, she is very hopeful for future events. In the text Anne states, “Monday, the ninth of November, 1942. Wonderful news! The Allies have landed in Africa. Pim says that we can look for an early finish to the war. Just for fun he asked each of us what was the first thing we wanted to do when we got out of here. For myself, there are so many things... to ride a bike again... to laugh till my belly aches... to have new clothes from the skin out... to have a hot tub filled to overflowing and wallow in it for hours... to be back in school with my friends.” This proves that Anne was very hopeful for a good outcome. Anne was very courageous. She never chose to give up when everyone around her felt like their lives were going to end, instead she kept her head high and stayed positive. Anne had hope and courage which helped her stay positive during the…

Anne Frank once said, "In spite of everything, I still believe people are really good at heart." This quote was written right before the Annex was found by the Nazis. I feel this expresses three of Anne's personality traits. It indicates how honest, humble, and brave she is. Even when her whole world is crumbling and she has every right to be angry at the unfairness of her situation, she still chooses to believe that people are good. Anne Frank, a Jewish girl alive during World War II, believed the Nazis looking for her and her family, were good people deep down. Anne was a Jew, hiding in an attic from age thirteen to fifteen years old. She wrote every day for two years in her diary named Kitty. She, her family, and another Jewish family were all hiding from the Nazis because Germany had ordered the extermination of all Jews in 1939. This became known as the Holocaust. The Holocaust was a genocide, where about six million Jewish people were…

She has learned that through hard times she can still find the happiness in life and can focus on them. Anne did not just make it through challenging times, she thrived through challenging times. We all should notice that no matter what was going on, Anne was seeing the joy and good in not only life, but in people as well. She showed us who she really was through this life changing experience. Anne demonstrates that we should keep our head held high when we face the struggles of life. If Anne Frank can see the good in things while being persecuted, I know I can. I have learned from the Holocaust that no matter who you are, what you look like, your race, religion, or anything you can think of, we are equal. Now you are probably thinking, “shouldn’t she already know that?” The Holocaust has helped me to see it in a different way. It also showed me how cruel and selfish humans can be and how cruel and selfish I can be. A lesson all humans should know is that we are one. We are equal. Anne once said, “‘I don’t think of all the misery, but the beauty that still remains,’”…
