Peace and quiet is what I love to come into my room to after a long day of work and class. In my opinion, having a roommate is overrated, and I would prefer to live alone because I am antisocial and I love my privacy. However, I must have a roommate because it is expensive to live alone. So, when it comes to having a roommate I am not the biggest fan of the idea but I can conform to it for the benefit of my wallet. My idea of the perfect roommate is quiet, knows how to keep everything clean and is respectful of my personal space and items.
I would enjoy having a roommate who is quiet, stays out of my business and stays to themselves. I am the type of person loves my privacy and I would rather not talk seventy-five percent of the time, so the occasional hello and goodbye is fine with me. Most mornings I do not want to say anything, because I am not a morning person and talking in the morning irritates me. Not saying that my roommate must be a mute but limited talking is perfect to me. I cannot live with someone who does not clean or keep a neat space because I was raised in a home where having a messy room is unacceptable and cleaning should be a priority. In my opinion, one should not leave home without making their bed and making sure there is no mess in the floor with exception of running late. Also, I would rather we have a shared responsibility of cleaning the space we share, like the bathroom and kitchen areas. Not saying that my roommate must be OCD but I would prefer for them to know how to keep
