Introduction
One method of assessment used is a holistic approach. To assess an individual in a holistic manner is to see that individual for more than just their functioning body, mental health state and lifestyle preferences (Melicher 1982). You have to look deeper into how all aspects of their life impact on each other, the reason certain factors influence them and what level of independence the individual has in each area that you are assessing. Care plans are a valuable tool used in the treatment of patients. Without a care plan I would be going into patient’s homes without the valuable information needed to treat and care for the individual. Medical conditions, any relevant medical history (allergies etc.) religious beliefs to name but a few are invaluable in the care and treatment of patients and should be included .
1.1,In the health and social care field, the performance of an individual at work is very much influenced by the Personal values of the individual and principles. As this health and social care profession involves a lot of communication and interaction with individuals from different background, it is highly. essential for the care workers to have a greater awareness of self values. Inadequate and uneven care rendered results for the uprising issues in this field are mainly because of not realizing the importance of personal values by the health care workers.
