My first step would be to graduate with my Bachelors in Radiation Therapy. In doing so, I will be working in the Cancer Center at Northwestern Memorial Hospital. The drive and determination that I have to complete this goal is what is the most important about my identity today. The love that I have for other people and their health is undeniable and I want nothing but to share my heart and passion with the world and people in need.
The desire that I have to help others is also important because it helps me realize that there are many people in the world struggling and not just in a hospital. It makes me want to travel to other countries and do as much as I possibly can to impact their lives in a positive way. I have been given an opportunity to travel to Haiti to help build and create water pumps just so the community has fresh water to drink. That experience in itself is me giving back to the world, to their community. Something that means so much to them, such as water, and me having the necessary skills and tools to give them that is an incredible feeling. I cannot help but want to connect with people that feel the need to help others as much as I do. Hopefully one day everyone will want to be involved in some type of volunteer work to better this world one country at a
