Day 2- As I clean out my practically empty bag, I surprisingly found both trash and clutter. My purse is otherwise a vessel for whatever I need during the day.
Day 3-Tossing out old socks was more about tossing out those unruly pairs that burry themselves at the back corner of your drawer
Day 4- To get rid of digital devices, I de cluttered my phone. I deleted apps I didn’t use on a weekly basis as well as those that did not benefit my daily life. I then challenged myself to go through my,at the time, 7,060 photos. I ended up deleting 2,060 photos and realizing that I only value photos of those I love and I only benefit from the photos I take
Day 5- Emptying my wallet was a pretty simple task because of the fact that I have a “guy’s” wallet. Most women keep change and credit cards in their wallet where all I had was old receipts and my stamp cards for the frozen yogurt shops.
Day 6- Writing about my friends’ best qualities was something I decided not to record because of the importance of privacy. I only consider a handful of the people I talk to on a daily basis to be friend, Writing about them helped me to differentiate and understand their value in my life as well as show gratitude at the fact that they are my friends.
Day7- writing out my own best qualities lead to be a more difficult request rather than anything else. More often than not I believe we see the worst in ourselves because we know ourselves the best. We see all our own faults although most people don’t even recognize them or even point them out.
Day 8- Journaling for 20 min a day can be a great stress reliever as well as help you think through many ideas. An overview of my journaling for today would be my excitement for homecoming and the visit from my boyfriend that comes down on Thursday.
