Knowing coach was going to scold on the girls because they weren’t doing what he wanted them to do and tears still in my face and everyone still trying to mollify my feelings and alleviate my pain. I took in all the pain and my knee started to feel a lot better after doing some stretches. So when half time finished coach said he wanted the same 5 girls to go in. I immediately told him “Coach I’m good to go in!” After getting the okay from Doc that I was good to go in he subs me back in. I had so much determination to go back in and finish off the game. I was blocking the girls shots, causing some turnovers, rebounding every single ball that hit the backboard and scoring points. Playing the whole third and fourth quarter had me feeling like I was going to die from all the running back and forth but I knew the big win at the end would be worth it. The fourth quarter came and we were down by a couple of points and I did assists to Karyme and Gyselle where they’d shoot 3’s and with so much lucky they made them. We went over and ended up winning the game. This game I pulled a triple double meaning I did more than 10 rebounds, more than 10 assists and scored more than 10 points. I was beyond proud of myself and all the hard work I had put in. It all was worth it at the end and knowing all season long I would continue working my hardest and give it my all coach gave me a starting position.
