I like the color blue. I love sidekicks that works just as well with heroes at background. I am fond of the piano and the sport, badminton. When sad or angry, you can just find me in a dark corner I would imagine myself as a successful web designer, freelance stockbroker or a businessman. Our parents were very supportive and always encouraged us to dream high. I started preschool in a small institution near home. After a year, my brother followed. At the primary school that we studied in, we excelled in different contests. I would join academic and writing contests. On the other hand, my brother joined sports league and interclass competitions.
Life goes on like a wheel, sometimes you are at the top, sometimes at the bottom.
When we were at high school, my parents had difficulty covering the expenses so I applied on scholarships at our school. I also entered hellish reviews to review subject matters, cover to cover. Even if I had less time to sleep and leisure, the labor was worth it. I was successful on the grant and was given only half the tuition to pay for. My parents were very happy and proud about it. However, the wheel of life keeps on rolling and it does not stop at the top. At my last year, the foundation that gave the scholarship had difficulties with the campus and was forced to close. We were disappointed. My mother said that I should start finding the university that would suit me. I discovered many colleges and universities but nothing else piqued my interest except for the University of the Philippines. Like I did last time, I entered various review centers and studied day and night during the vacation for the entrance exam. I did not limit my choices and also taken entrance examinations from other prestigious universities. I passed the exam and took the chance to study here. As of now, I am on my second year in the campus. Though I had utmost difficulty in my subjects, I would fight like everyone else by studying and pushing my best in everything that I
do.
I am certain that my goals will help me and my family to have a blissful life. I am hoping to finish my degree and take another one while working. My mother once said that education is one of the most important thing that she can pass unto. I am grabbing that opportunity she gave me to study. My motto in life is taken from one of the most important line formula in my math major. Rise over run. Overcome the difficulties and trials in life rather than run from it. It does not matter how well you progress each day or how long it would take for you to reach at the top. As long as are constantly developing and changing positively every time you can, surely you will be the best person you can be.
