Personal Narrative: Army Story

Army Story
I am from Denver, Colorado. I owned a successful business in Denver before economy crisis (2008). The first time I thought to join the Army, was when my business went down and Army commercials were everywhere in medias looking for those who can speak languages. I went to the first recruiting station and asked for that program. That was the beginning of my military career.

They shipped me to Fort Jackson, South Carolina for Basic Combat Training and I had to stay in reception for a month for initial secret clearance. I could not imagine that I can finish basic training, but I graduated and went to Fort Huachuca, Arizona for Advanced Individual Training. I will carry that excellent experience for life. The

    I knew it was going to be the longest nine weeks of my entire life. The first three days were pretty excruciating, no sleep, and no food. We were basically being prepared and tested for the hail storm up a head.
