Be Safe John hold your horses, I am not going to sugar coat this. Driving my car is a big deal and I am not totally convinced to let you. You failed your first road test miserably, hitting the curb on several occasions. But you pulled your weight, got your ducks in a row, and passed your next test with flying colors. This leaves me stuck at a crossroads with my decision on letting you take my car. I don’t want to seem like I am playing hardball but I am bent out of shape over this. I have been blessed with excellent driving skills and since the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree and everybody deserves a second chance; I going to let you take my car. It makes me very proud how you pulled your weight and worked hard to pass the
second road test.
As you may have guessed, I have strict rules, which you must follow. You must never come close to going over the speed limit, because it’s always better to be safe than sorry. You better be on the edge of your seat and not staring off into space because you never know when a careless driver will come up on you. Make sure you always put on your seat belt. Look left, right, and left again before crossing an intersection. I don’t mean to sound like a broken record, but I am putting a lot of trust in you and you need to be safe. Driving on the roads can be extremely dangerous so you need to promise me that you will take these precautions seriously. Driving my car without me is a whole new ball game. I will not be there to remind you to check in your mirrors or how to park. As long as you follow these rules you will be fine. I do trust you, but this is the real deal and if you break one of my guidelines this privilege will go away. Just remember don’t push your luck and you will be safe.
