Personal Narrative: Doing Something With Photos
I know, more off topic content, It's the last time, I promise. I had to do something with the photos, though, right? I may as well share them with anyone who would like a look.

I have visited Cuba twice. The first time I was sailing for three months with my uncle, the second time I went on holiday with my girlfriend.

Most of the pictures in this gallery are from the holiday with my girlfriend and consists of some of the memorable moments we had while holidaying. I wasn't that into photography at the time, it was some years ago. I think I had a compact camera, a Nikon dsc h50 if I remember correctly.

If you click the photos to enlarge them some may have a description

My project is an original song that I wrote using only the electric guitar. The song begins with three parts singing together. The first of these parts is the echoing bass notes of D and G, driving the interval of a perfect fourth. The second is a muted, rhythmic line that consists of four notes and repeats on the beat. The third is simply a high F# played using the technique of harmonics and highly effected by reverb. These three parts play together on a loop throughout the entire piece, and represent the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. There is no real defining start to these parts, which represents the idea of a God without beginning. What is played thereafter (what might be considered the melody)…

I always keep this poem and picture in my wallet. I take it everywhere with me because it means quite a lot to me in two very different ways. One of those ways is because it holds sentimental value. When I was younger I learned to read very late in life and I was always so embarrassed of that. My father knew that I was struggling and bought me the book, Where the Sidewalk Ends. It is a book full of poems and little pictures written by Shel Silverstein. I remember opening the book to ta random page, and it was the page with this poem. I then remember my dad asking me to read it to him. I was so uncomfortable, even thought I was just going to be reading to my dad. He gave me some words of encouragement, and even thought I was not able to read…
