I believe that’s an issue in many competitive sports what many coaches do they expect so much early in most sports they don’t think twice on the effects it has on the kids when they don’t perform very well. According to Brown he found out that young kids who are not successful in sports go though what is called aversive socialism. Which is a dramatic negative experience that could cause even withdrawal.
