Personal Narrative: I Believe In Myself
Have you ever had a time in your life when you have not believed in yourself or did not have enough strength? Well today I am going to tell you about this child named Elie in the book ¨Night¨, But then after I am going to tell you about a time when I have not had strength in myself.
Now time for me to tell you about Elie. Yes Elie was a good child he just never had the strength to do anything. Well one day he finally believed in himself that he could actually have strength. The reason he did not have strength in the first place is because Elieś father was very very sick and he never thought that his father would get better. (Which he didn't but you know let's just move on) But one day Elie believed in himself because the police was yelling

You always have to believe in yourself to have strength. I am going to tell you about a time I did not have strength in myself. Well this is my story! Well I went to conway schools at this point in time and we were having this test in math and I didn't really get what we did in math or even get math at all. But my parents had just broken apart so that was on my mind as well.:( But back to the test this was when I was in 5th grade and at my elementary school I had a teacher that helped me with my math. Well I was suppose to get one in 5th grade but that ended up not happening so. We were having a test and I knew nothing about this topic because I had already failed on my homeworks and papers we did in class. I did not have strength to take this test because I did not know how to do it and also I had bunch of stuff on my mind. But then I was starting to take the test and then I started crying because I looked at the problems and they looked to hard for me, But then the teacher told me to come out to the hall because I was bothering the other students and she had asked what was wrong and I had told her. She told me” Itś okay. I promise you will get a good passing grade on this test.” So then she made me sit out in the hall and take my test so I could have a good quiet place to test. So then I finally got finished and I thought and thought to myself I had told myself I did because I finally got my strength back. But that what I have learned from my experiences. What have you learned from yours?
In conclusion, it is always good to have strength or believe in yourself.Strength is always a good thing to have with you no matter what the problems is. Do you always have strength? If you don't then you should totally start trying to because it really really

Upon seeing one of the worst injustices he has ever bared witness to, Elie is almost numb to the horrors. He has almost completely lost faith in humanity when he watches the public hanging of a nice young boy who had stolen some soup. “Where He is? This is where—hanging from this gallows…” (65). This is was the last straw in Elie’s religious confidence. The act was so vivid and cruel that it completely corrupted any hope he had left in the goodness of mankind. The hanging of the young boy was also the death of God and his…

Elie’s biggest struggle is to maintain his belief and fate in God’s hands. Elie’s battle with his faith is a prevailing conflict in Night. At the beginning of the memoir, his faith in God is undeniable. When asked why he prays to God, he answers, “Why did I pray? . . . Why did I live? Why did I breathe?” His belief is unstoppable; compassionate…

Elie is filled with guilt as he thinks to pursue unthinkable things while his father’s strength depletes reversing the roles, where the father starts to depend on child. Elie feels condemned by his father and wishes multiple times to be relieved of his father to use his energy on himself. Elie feels guilty when thinking, “If only I were relieved of this responsibility, I could use all my strength to fight for my own survival, to take care only of myself,” (pg. 106, Wiesel). From the prolonged time spent at the camp, the concept of ‘every man for himself’ has imbedded itself into Elie’s head. He wants to abandon his father for a better chance of survival. The camp’s ideals have gotten into his head, and even though his father is feeble from illness and malnutrition he remains emotionally insensitive towards his father. It’s obvious, because of the ideals lingering in his mind Elie has become the type of person he hates, the one who would abandon their kin when push comes to…

    Bible Strength

In the bible there is one example of strength that caught my eye and it was the story of David and Goliath. David a measly kid wanted to fight a giant like Goliath, and with all odds against him he fought and killed him with the power of god and his sword. Believing in yourself when no one else does is the key to success; he wasn’t going to beat him thinking that he was weak. This and many other stories go to show believing in yourself is all you need, not the approval of others. If people today could just stop worrying what the numbers are, and just know that if they put their mind to it they can do anything there would be a lot more…
