Personal Narrative: I Have Grown As A Student
I have grown as a student this year by going to G3 to volunteer to help students with their homework and reading to them. Some of the goals that I have for my freshmen year is to pass 9th grade with a high G.P.A, not fail any of my classes, try to stay on track with my reading points and turn in all my homework and classwork on time. I will keep up with my reading points by reading 1-2 hours at home and reading at school when I can..Some other goals that i have to complete outside of school are to read at home and complete all my homework . Also, I work better when I am listening to music and when there is a teacher with me. The teacher can explain the problem to me and show me how to solve a problem with step by step instructions.
I also work best when I am writing down notes on a paper and going back to review the notes.
One of my growth I have had this year is with technology. Technology has helped me because I have been able to do my work on there and it has helped me with my homework and my classwork. It has also helped me to read because sometimes when i forgot my book at home i can just go on my phone and it’s on there. i know that wherever i go i will never forget the phone that the number one thing that i always have with me. Therefore, I have also grown as a student this semester because now I know how to help others when they are going through a bad time or when they do not feel safe at school because of what student do to them. I have also grown as a student because I have got more advance with the technology that the school has and that has help with my homework and classwork and other material. Some struggles I still have is working on my reading point I have not been able to pass any test on the books I have because after I read a book I forget what the book was about after some time. that is still my goal for second semester because that has also brought my grade down for two of my class because they have to do with my reading points. another goal I have for this semester and next is not to leave my projects for last minute because it doesn't come out as good as if I do on time.
