In elementary school I had a friend named Jake. He has autism and is kind of weird because of that, so no one ever really hung out around him except for me in elementary and middle school. I looked past differences and saw how he was actually a pretty cool guy. I met Jake in the second grade because he reminded me of a friend I used to have back when I lived in Seattle, his name was Alexander and he also had autism, but during the period of time that we were friends I was 4 years old so I really didn’t even know how to judge anyone yet. But throughout my friendship with Jake, just looking around seeing as how he barely had any friends I truly saw how judgmental some people were, and I learned from that. If more people would have seen the better side of him then they would learn this as well. My community would change with this belief, because when people don't judge harshly, they are nicer individuals. So everyone would be nicer, more open and more generous. They would change for the better; taking more things into consideration is a good thing. Without this belief the exact opposite would occur, people wouldn't be as nice, they would be less open minded and less generous. It would be pretty hard for some people. People judge others all the time even if they don't know them, but you should not judge others because you don’t know their
