With this information in mind about the population of tourists maybe that could have been where the sense of togetherness stem from. Although it was one instance that really caught my attention, it was a family sitting in front of me on a bus. I was heading back to my family and I's hotel. The family was so loud, but loud in a pleasant way. They weren't screaming and hopping around, but they were talking loud enough to hear everything. They were just a normal family with normal lives. What caught my attention though was how no one was taking their time to complain about them. People weren't pointing fingers and whispering to each other or anything. They all just knew this is a family with small children and they keep up noise that it is completely normal and we should be considerate. Another thing that really caught my attention was how a few people that clearly had been drinking got on the bus. I didn't notice anyone say anything, look at them funny, or even acknowledge them. They even talked to the family and played with their baby. I am not sure if one of the people in the group was gay, in our society femininity is associated with sexuality, although they mother in the family did not seem to care at all. Not in the aspect people living there, but the place that gets the most attention from tourists and people in general. I can not necessarily remember the place we went , but it was beautiful. It looked just like Venice on the inside or at least what I thought it would have been like. I had never seen something with so much attention to detail of this magnitude. The place was virtually a shopping mall as well, but it didn't seem like a mall. It was like you were in a small town with different stores around. I was just amazed at something for probably the first time in my life. It was such a huge place purely for the cause of entertainment and business. It didn't have to be anywhere near as monumental and detailed to bring people. Just being in las Vegas on the strip and having the stores it had would draw people in.
