My understanding of how I define myself has changed since that day transforming from a timid, reticent individual into a gallant, gregarious
man. I am no longer scared of new opportunities that open for me, but instead I embrace them and take full advantage. This excitement and grasping of a chance is why I want to go to Babson. The ability for me to get out of my comfort zone in my home state of Texas, and pillage to the polar northeast is exhilarant. Babson would allow me to reclaim my concealed venturesome spirit.
Being in the center of Massachusetts, Babson is the focal point for grand events and in due time all will be seen from Tom Brady’s breathtaking performance to the Art of Asia at the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston; however, I do understand priorities and my biggest priority is to follow what I love, business. I have grown up in a business climate from my second grade Bake Sale, which was my first experience with marketing to securing an internship of the University of Texas at Dallas in the Global Business Department. Each of these individual steps converged to play a crucial role in my understanding of the concept of business, and only Babson would allow me to master this ever changing ideal.
There are many schools that would allow me to have either a great education or exciting experiences; however, no school offers the top notch business curriculum Babson extends while still affording experiences that cannot be attained in the small town of Carrollton, Texas. Before I do leave for Babson there is still one challenge I must conquer, the Texas Giant.
