Narrative Essay On Six Flags
Anyone that knows me will tell you that fall is my favorite season. From the beautiful fall colors, to just sitting around a fire with family and friends. I love so much about the fall season. When the air gets cool and crisp, I just can’t help thinking about Halloween and all things scary. My most favorite place is Six Flags, it is an absolute must visit for lasting memories, great food and shopping and Fright Nights. As far back as I can remember my family and I have been going to Six Flags. It used to be the place where schools would hold their picnics. Me and my younger sister would wait all year for it. As soon as the school would send out the letter, the pestering would begin When I was younger it was just going to the fun park but, …show more content…
There were so many genres to choose from. We would all don old fashion grab, they would give the guys a gun or two and we would get in front of the decorated set. We would all get into place and we would hear, “no smiling folks”, the smiling young photographer would say. I must say they were some funny photos. At noon, it was time to get together, get our hand stamped, then off to the picnic area. I have very fond memories of those lunches with my family. Six Flags was my first taste of teen freedom too. There was one year I would guess I was somewhere around thirteen, my parents finally agreed to let my best friend go with us. Arriving at the park we were surprised for them to tell us we could go by ourselves to ride whatever we wanted. The only stipulation was that we meet them at the front gate at noon for lunch and a few minutes before closing, FREEDOM! That was a great day Just like most parents I started taking my son to Six Flags. I have such fond memories of our times at the park. For me to be able to watch my son enjoy some of the same rides that I enjoyed as a kid was fantastic. Watching a child run and have so much fun, is what keeps me young. I have had so many good times at this park. I would never be able to write them …show more content…
And sweets abound here, the hard part is choosing. Maybe I’m in the mood for the deep fried powdered sugar covered Funnel Cake, but Six Flags ups the ante with even more sugar with the Waffle Cake sundae. Might be that I want something chocolaty and decadent, that would mean a visit to the World’s Fair Fudgery. This chocolate goodness would taste outstanding but, I think a good old-fashioned caramel apple would hit the spot.
We ride some rides and next thing we know we are in Britannia, and that means Friar Tucks turkey legs and waffle fries. These turkey legs are enormous, two or three of us can share just one. They are so good. This place has just about every kind of food I could want, from All American burgers to BBQ, and from pizza to tacos, they even have lighter choice for those of us watching what we eat. Six Flags has it all and so much more.
Like I said, “I love fall”, but the very best thing about fall is Halloween. And absolutely no place does Halloween quite like Sig Flags. Fright Nights is the place for everything Halloween, and they have it all. The sights and sounds of the spookiest time of the year. For five weekends in September and October and Halloween, Fright Nights come

This tasty dessert is a large chocolate-chip cookie topped with ice cream, chocolate fudge, and candied pecans. The cookie is a thick pastry that is blissful and rich. The hearty cookie is served warm, so the chocolate melts and is in pools in the cookie. The vanilla bean is creamy cold and mixes with the cookie perfectly. Coating the ice cream is savory hot fudge. Luscious and light, the fudge gives the ice cream and cookie a complete flavor. As a finishing the touch, the candied pecans have a marvelous maple flavor and give this dessert a crunch. The skillet cookie is good way to end the meal off and it will definitely fulfill a need for something sweet.…

Also, all these food places are opened the entire time you're there. They don’t close till all the people are out of the amusement park. Another great quality about Six Flags, is that you can get a stamp and leave. On your way out to the parking lot, you stop and ask for a stamp. That way you don’t have to pay again and you can go enjoy some of the food, that is located around the park.…

It was a 3-day weekend or someday in my senior year of high school that I was able to persuade my mother to let me go to Irvine Spectrum with friends on a Friday afternoon. This was the last couple times that I could hang-out with my high school friends before we walked our way to the graduation; we better did something fun! However, there was really nothing, yes, nothing,…

My parents would then drag me forcibly through the dull boring exhibits inside when all I wanted at that moment was to be out in that sunny, grease heavy air, frolicking in the carnival. Mom and Dad though, would drag me through what seemed like endless rows of shabby tables set up in a brightly florescent lit cement floored and high ceilinged building. The tables held things for sale that my parents would never buy and held no interest to me, or they would have some jewel or priceless artifact an old person was showing off to everyone for whatever reason.…

It all started at the end of eighth grade when our class had taken a graduation party to Six Flags in Eureka, Missouri. Having never been to an amusement park, my adrenaline was through the roof, and I was excited for the day I had ahead of me. The car ride there seemed to last an eternity. We discussed all of the rides we were going to wait in line for, and how we were going to try to avoid vomiting on top of the highest rollercoaster in the whole park, Mr. Freeze. The…

I think the freedom we experienced that day was what made up most of the fun; being able to leave the state and go to a water park, without our mothers watching over us each and every second. No siblings to watch or rules to follow, we were finally free to enjoy the day. And so we did; creating lots of memories and experiencing what was, arguably, the best trip I’d ever been on.…
