As I looked out the window I could see the big roller coasters haunting me from the highest peaks. When we first got there, I saw one ride I wanted to go on first, the Gatekeeper. It was the first big roller coaster I went on since I went on the roller coasters in Hershey Park. I heard my mom say, “What ride do you guys want to go on next?” My sister …show more content…
wanted to go on the Millennium Force, of course, the one I wanted too, only to my luck, I find that the ride has no lap belt, so I opted out of going on it.
The second ride we went on was the Dragster, my sister, my mom, and I were waiting there. We are all sweaty, gross and sticky all of the sudden my sister starts talking about how the ride goes up and comes back down, I didn’t mind, I thought it was cool. All of the sudden, at the front of the line, I said nauseously, “Mom I don't want to go on this ride.” I was swallowing really hard trying to keep from puking.
I sat down next to the vending machines that weren't really helping because my mom had no money, and my lips were a ghost white and I was craving anything to eat anything, even broccoli.
My sister was waiting in line for the ride that, obviously, wasn’t opening anytime soon. So my mom was looking for my sister, I couldn’t wait much longer to get something to eat and drink so we walked out of line and found the nearest food stand next to the dragster. We got mini cups of water for free.
As soon as the cold water hit my mouth I felt a wave of sensation wash over me.
My mom asked the rollercoaster lady if she could get her money and phone from my sister. So the lady went over the tracks, that seemed like a bottomless pit of darkness staring into your soul, and got my moms money. I saw a frozen lemonade stand and I immediately said, in a shaky voice, “There is a frozen lemonade stand over there mom, can I get it?”
“Of course you can,” my mom said in an anxious tone.
When my sister got off the ride, I said, in a queasy voice, “Can we go get something to eat now?”
My sister said, “Yes please.” So, After my sister was done we went to get dinner cause I was starving. So we got pizza at some kind of western place they had there and Dippin Dots from a stand almost right in the middle of the park.
The last ride we went on was them Mine Ride after eating pizza for dinner. That was the worst choice that I made. EVER. Before my sister and I went on the ride the person had thrown up on the cart before us, and I was worried about throwing up my dinner. I swallowed hard as the rickety cart came into the old, rickety, torn down house. As soon as we got onto the ride, the man in front of us exclaimed,
”I am glad we didn't eat before we went on this
ride.
At the end of the day I had a major headache and a little bit of a stomach ache. I told my mom I never wanted to ride rollercoasters again. I learned that not only don’t listen to your sister when she says scary things about a ride but also don’t listen to her when she says rollercoasters are fun.
