The next morning, my mom and I drove to the wonderful Kansas City Convention Center. I smelt the luscious cool air. When we walked in, I felt the papery texture on the agt banner. We saw a bunch of people waiting for their audition. I had to sign a bunch of wavers to make sure that it was
okay for me to be on tv. I went in and waited for 9 hours. It was a beautiful, well lit place. There was the letters AGT in big lights. There was big signs that you can take pictures in front of. At 10 hours the finally called my number, 1107592. They count the last three numbers so I was in the 590’s. When they called my number range, I got up out of my seat and followed the producer to another room. I waited there for about an hour and a half. I met a really nice girl named Alicia. She was a really good singer. They take you in groups so I got to be with Alicia. When the producer took us back into another room, another producer greeted us. When we got in, the producer made us all sit in a row. I sang for the producer, and went home. I have until the end of March to find out if I made it. Wish me lots of luck!!
