Without delay, the prosecution lawyer begins.
At first, he states the stuff from the police report. He mentioned that the murder said he stocked the old man for 8 days straight. Later he moves on and asks the expert what is the definition of insanity. The expert states, “Insanity is a serious mental disorder, excuse from responsibility, utterly foolish and unreasonable. To help his side he brings up that insane people aren’t aware of what they are doing. The murder later claimed that he was not aware of what he was doing. The defense lawyer quickly responds using the police report, that he clearly was able to recall what he did. Also, he said he stocked the man for 8 day, which means he was aware of what and how long he was doing it. Further, he knew where he bared him and knew he was doing something wrong so he hides the body. Finally the lawyer presents his conclusion, “According to the definition the murder doesn’t seem to have the symptom of insanity and seems to recall everything that happened. While, the defense lawyer prepares his side I decide if my oppion
changed.
As I analysis all that was said I come to a conclusion that as right now the murder is still guilty of 1st degree murder. From what I saw and heard, the murder didn’t seem to have any signs of insanity and was fully aware of what he was doing.
Minute late the defense lawyer and takes the stands. She restates the story from the police reports. They call him insane for multiple reasonse. One of these many reason are that he claims he killed someone or their eye and just their eye. They also brought up a definition of insanity of, “People having a disregard of the public” She claimed the murder did care about the public or others. She also brought up that he wore the mask of sanity, which most insane people do. Without delay she brought more points, one being that he smiled when he saw the police and cut up the dead mans body, this could be seen as a little strange. The murder later claims that he could hear the dead man's heartbeat. At this point I would hate to be a juror because both sides came with amazing evidence.
As the jurors walk out the room I began to reanalyze everything. From what I heard I still believe that this man is more of a first-degree murder than someone who is insane. In a moment the jurors confidently walked in the room.
Immediately the lead juror stand up and says, “We believe this murder is guilty..” He took a long pause, “Of…” Another pauses, “Murder in the first degree!” The judge slammed his gavel on his stand and police officers immediately a merge with handcuffs. So today, the murder of a poor old man is brought to jail for first-degree murder. As the man is escorted out of the room he turns around and gives a menacing look
