The Landlady Research Paper
My case is called ‘The Landlady’, this case is proving that the landlady is guilty of murder. This lady has murdered a 17 year old boy named Billy Weaver, and has also murdered 2 other boy named Christopher Mulholland and Gregory Temple, who were also at the age 17. Billy’s branch manager noticed he had not come in for his job, so he sent me to investigate the lady who last saw Billy. The lady owns a bed and breakfast and offered Billy to stay there, but after that Billy went missing. I chose this case to find all information on how she killed Billy.

I knocked on the lady's door and told her I was going to ask her questions on Billy disappearance. The lady told me she had saw Billy wandering around Bath and had offered him a place to stay. Billy accepted the offer to stay for 1 night for 5 and 6 pence. After Billy got settled he went down and the lady offered him tea and talked a while. I had asked what they talked about ad if she knew were Billy went after that , she said she did not know. Then i asked what type of tea they had, when she responded she sounded compelled, Billy told her the tea was great but with her tone it was obvious something was in the tea. I asked her more questions but she didn't know the answer to them and sounded rapacious to finish the questions.

I continued to ask the lady questions,

The lady showed me the guestbook, only a total of 3 people have been at the bed and breakfast. When Billy checked he was the first guest after 3 years, and I saw Gregory and Christopher's name. I asked about Gregory and Christopher, she seemed congenial talking about it. The lady said Christopher had a great taste in tea, if Christopher and Billy had the tea the it gives more evidence that she poisoned the tea. I told her to tell me about Gregory, she said his skin was like a baby’s, how would this lady know what Gregory’s skin looks

The Assistant public defender explained that the police would be testifying to the events that happened January 2011. When the police arrived they knocked on the door and no one answered so they looked in through the window to see Schenecker laying outside on the back patio. She notes that the police explain the defendant looked as though she had been sleeping for a very long time and that it was a very cool January morning. To cool for her to be sleeping outside in her robe. That investigation quickly turned from a welfare check into a homicide investigation. Ms. Spradley attempted to paint a picture of the events that happened that day to be one of a loving mother who was mentally unstable. Whilst working a shift in a residential home, I became acquainted with an elderly lady in her eighties. She had been a widow for many years and had no children. She was a very quiet, private person, who didn’t like showing her feelings, being made a fuss off or being hugged. She had lived in the home for about five years. The only visitor that Mrs B had was an elderly man, a friend of her husband. He would come and visit every Monday and have afternoon tea with her. They would reminisce and Mrs B looked forward to his visits. One Monday the elderly gentleman did not arrive and Mrs B thought it was unusual. The following day we had a message that the elderly man had been found dead at home. I was asked to tell Mrs B.…

The trial started and the first person who took the stand was the Sheriff, Mr Tate. The oppositions Lawyer, Mr Gilmer, was the first to ask Mr Tate some questions, all Mr Gilmer asked the Sheriff was what had happened on that night, the Sheriff replied by saying that he saw Miss Ewell on the floor beaten up, and that she had told him Tom Robinson had beaten her up and that Tom Robinson had took advantage of her. Things hadn't started well for me and Tom Robinson. I stood up and proceeded to ask Mr Tate some questions, the first question I asked was if he had called a doctor, Mr Tate replied by saying no, I asked him in a different way another two times, to make my point clear that no doctor had been called. I then asked him to describe the girls injuries, he described them and I asked on what side of her face was her black eye, after a couple of tries he finally said it was her right eye, and that it was mainly the right side of her face that was banged up badly. This was good news for me and Tom Robinson as I knew that Tom couldn't use his left hand, and it was obvious that who ever beat her up was using his left hand, I didn't reveal this to the court just yet. I then sat down and Mr Tate left the stand.…

At 10:10am on 26th January 1966, the three Beaumont children caught a bus to go to the beach. The bus stop was less than 100 metres from their home. The bus driver, Mr I. D. Monroe, confirmed that he had seen the children get on and off his bus. A passenger also noticed them and was able to recall the colours of the clothes the children were wearing and that Jane was carrying a copy of the book Little Women. The children got off the bus at 10:15am. The police believed that the local postman, Tom Patterson, saw the children walking along Jetty Rd towards the beach. The postman knew the children and they yelled to him, “It’s the postie!” However Mr Patterson now believes that this encounter was in the afternoon not the morning.…

In the saturated world of entertainment today, it is vital to an actor's career to find the thing that sets them apart and causes them to be memorable. I have been noticing the work of Chelah Horsdal for some time, and in anticipation of her soon-to-be-released film CANDiLAND that I was privileged to screen, I was quite honored that in spite of her insanely busy schedule, she was willing to answer a few questions about how she got started in the business, her notable and beloved works, and what she aspires to do in the near and distant future.…

Greeting courtroom members, I am Shaneka Lewis apart of the Defence Attorney and I will be representing my client Donovan Tisi pleading not guilty upon the robbery and bodily harm charges. On December 5th 2013 at 5:30 PM, Anver Williams had claimed to be walking home from his basketball practice where he perhaps had been wearing his brand new basketball sneakers. As Mr. Williams was walking home he decided to take a short-cut home from a dark alley way that leads to Eglinton Ave. As Anver Williams was walking he seemed to come across a group of older men. Anver Williams explained how the young men approached him and toke away his hat and his sneakers after while being brutally attacked. My question and argument court, is to why my client Donovan is being called upon out of all of the young men who had claimed to be there during this dispute, is there enough proof or evidence to show that Donovan Tisi had been there or even took part in this crime, that Anver Williams is not sure of who had harmed or robbed him? As we are gathered here court I would like you all to investigate or try to find real evidence to prove that it had been my client Donovan that shows his participation in this act.…

Members of the jury, I am here today representing the Clutter family who on November 15, 1959 were brutally murdered by the two men standing before you, Richard Hickock and Perry Smith. This poor innocent family had never hurt a fly. They lived their ordinary, simple lives on their farm in Holcomb, Kanas. They were a very valued member of the society and this death has had a great impact on everyone in Holcomb. I can see no reason why such a kind and humble family had the right to be murdered. It was not just a husband and wife, but also their daughter and son, who were only 15 and 16 years old. Did they deserve to die? I’m asking you today to take a moment and think about what these two men have done to this poor family. They were no threat to anyone. They never meant any harm. What was their motive? There was no cash in the house and before the day of the murder, the Clutters and Mr. Hickcock and Mr. Smith had never met or even interacted with each other. There are no connections between them, no reason for why they were killed, and without your help, there will be no justice for this family. I am asking you to think of the Clutter’s. How much more each of them had to live. How they had never committed a single crime or said a single bad thing about anyone. They were innocent. Whoever had the decency to kill this sweet, loving family is clearly a very sick person and does not deserve to live. This was an immortal crime. For the members of Holcomb, and the sake of humanity, don’t let these men get away with such a horrid crime. Thank you. I plead my case.…
