My Eagle Project was planned to occur during July summer of 2010. It was January 2010 when planning just started. Those six months was challenging and required a lot of time but I was able to manage the project because of my planning and efficiency skills. My project involved revamping the playground for Dallas Life Foundation, a homeless shelter. Before I even began searching for materials, I planned out how the finished project was going to look like, how much and what materials I needed, and started raising funds. Talking to companies to get discounts and calling up managers to borrow equipment was a breeze because I was able to be precise. This was possible because I planned before I executed. And planning ahead made me more efficient in executing because I enveloped the most productive result with the materials and funding available. Through this leadership experience, I would be able to lead small groups in classrooms, work with a diverse student body, and take part in important community
