I continued with classes at DMACC. This threw me into a slump and I felt in the back of my mind I was not good enough. I started to fail classes. In the spring of 2015, I had a house fire. I got behind in my classes and failed again. I sunk into a deep depression. I eventually began therapy and they helped me to build my strength and self-confidence back up. …show more content…
I have worked hard and believe I can conquer the world. I have a great support system, both in home and so far through CCU. I have learned that life happens. We just need to pick up the pieces and move forward. I have been researching CCU and my major and do believe this is the exact path in which I want to be on. I am so grateful that CCU has given me the opportunity to begin my journey and fulfill my dreams.
I believe that the adult learning program is just what I need. Taking one class at a time is going to help me focus better on that one subject instead of trying to cram for four different classes at one time. I am confident this is the right choice for me and want to thank you for giving me this
