Another buzzer sounded as it was the end of the first half.
The whole crowd was booming in excitement as the score was Jay’s and Trey's, my team, 32 to the other team’s measly 10. I had over half the points in the first half, as I finished with 18 points. As the beginning of the second half begun, all eyes were on me. Nothing else even tried to enter my mind as I was deeply focused. I entered the game as a shooting guard this time, so I could get more open shots. At the beginning of that half, I had kind of slowed down to just regular Kaden, just controlling the game with good passing and aggressiveness. It wasn’t until the buzzer sounded that I knew it was time to go back to dominance. The other team had caught fire and brought the game back to a two point game, 42 to
40. The fourth quarter was a totally different story for the other team, as we started playing defense and offence. I didn’t miss any shots in the fourth quarter as I had caught fire. There was no way that the other team could complete the comeback when our team is hitting on all cylinders like we were. It ended up being a thrashing as we won by 26 points. I had beaten the goal that I thought was impossible for me, as I ended up with 34 points. I couldn’t even believe that I had beaten “This impossible goal.” I have now learned that nothing is impossible if you believe in yourself and put out all you have. Eleanor Roosevelt said it best when she stated “You must do the thing you think you cannot do.”
