Personal Narrative: My Lesson At Frontenac High School

Today I taught my second lesson at Frontenac High School. I don’t feel that this lesson went as well as the first. I started class by going over the take-home assignment from Tuesday. The students were more talkative today and didn’t seem to want to pay attention. I think this was because they didn’t have school the next day. I would stop and wait for them to focus back on me. Once we had graded the homework and turned it in, I began the lesson. For this day, I had many examples to do with the students that used each of the ratios to find a missing side length or an angle measure. I had the students do some of the examples independently, and then some we did as a class. I realized afterwards that I should have had them come up to the board
