My absolutely favorite piece of writing was the, Confess a Secret Journal. I thought it was so fun to create a character that was hiding something. I wrote my story on Russian Spy working for the FBI. I really enjoyed writing this story because there was so many ways I could go with it. I chose to have the Russian spy fall in love and tell the woman he was a spy because he did not care what his organization thought of him anymore. I put a lot of effort into this piece by looking up details about the time period and popular names around that time. I also used information from crime shows I watch to know how a spy would act. I talked about how he made information drops, how the organization set his love’s apartment on fire and drugged her, as well as staying in a safe house. I got my inspiration from, NCIS, a tv show I was watching the night before. In the episode someone had leaked intel to the Russian Government and that is how I got my idea.
I was not happy with my Spooky Story. The whole point of the assignment was to create a spooky story.
