What is your vision for America? In my vision for America I think we could change and improve many things. My vision for America would be my ultimate utopia. First, I think that in america there shouldn’t be any people who are suffering from not having a home or not being able to afford something that is a necessity. Secondly, We would have a cure for all diseases for anyone who might have something simple like a cold or for anyone who might have something as severe as cancer. Even though government provides a lot of facilities to us but still there are some things that are not perfect and I would like to change. There are some opportunities that are limited to rich people and middle class people still can't achieve their American Dream. So I would like to make these opportunities reachable to middle class people. No more Lobbyists, to many agendas, greed, corruption. Our Politicians should answer to their constituency. Looking at other countries, America is the country with less corruption but still there are some leaders who are corrupted and just care about money. Most of the leaders promise to public to have new opportunities and other useful policies for them in future but never make these promises true. I would like to have government more careful about their public and not just rich people but also middle class people. The care of human life and happiness, and not destruction, is the first and only object of good…

A recent event in my life where I felt proud was getting enough money to help my parents pay for bills and succeed and pursue "the american dream". I started to work for HoneyBaked Ham part time since I was eligible to work. The paychecks felt great and giving them to my parents was felt better. As my sister and I get ready for college, the money got tight and I did gigs on the side. I did everything from landscaping to repairing phone screens. Felt stressful but, mind over matter right? Thats exactly what my parents thought when they moved overseas to the new world. I felt a huge sense of pleasure as I could see stress lift off their shoulders when I gave them the money This would help me in college because I know I can give myself the extra…

The Shared Vision I am currently in the process of crafting includes working for an organization that will challenge me to grow both in knowledge and as a person. Peace Corp is one organization that can give me what I want out of my company and organization and how I am going to get that out of my new organization. At this time I am trying to link my personal vision to the organization’s potential in order to help myself align the organization’s purpose with my own purpose (vision): and to prepare the individual groundwork for creating a shared vision. I am at a crossroads on my career path, where I can either I can decide on my personal vision and try and line up my career with that vision or I can let someone else determine what type of work…

Tax cuts on enterprises and firms make goods and provide services would be very effective method of increasing output and expanding capital gain. I would also institute government actions to encourage growth. People would start businesses and must in start up businesses. The key idea to economic growth is production. If people start, a business make goods, provide services the GDP will raise. Making a greater quantity of products will raise the GDP and lift America out of recession, especially if small businesses with growth potential make products needed in global market. this will bring in foreign money and trade, increasing the amount of wealth held in the country.…

The root of many problems is that society tends to try to only fix issues that personally affect the individual. Since America is an individualistic culture, we tend to help solve problems that are motivated by personal achievement, past situations and immediate results. A lot of times we forgetting the bigger picture and looking at a grand scheme issue I would like to solve the lack of education for language available to deaf citizens of third world countries.…

America’s goal is creating opportunity for all. What we long understood is that many Americans consistently had the odds stacked against them. That sense of unfairness and powerlessness has helped to fuel that kind of unrest that we have seen in places that lack basic opportunities. This leads to groups of communities feeling unfairly targeted by our government. Government can not wave a magic wand and make poverty disappear tomorrow but there is a whole lot our government could do to improve the lives of tens of million people, especially women living in poverty. We have to do everything in our power to make this countries promise for everyone willing to work for it.…

I find myself asking what the American dream is. When I was a kid I always wanted to own a house I can walk all the way around. Growing up in a row house did not provide me that opportunity. The American dream may differ from person to person, but most of those would agree on the basic principles of that dream. We all like the opportunity to live comfortably and at a certain standard of living. Maybe the definition of the dream has changed, and this is why attaining it has become more and more elusive for most Americans. Our government is tasked with making sure its citizens have the opportunity to provide for their basic needs, however they have fallen far short of this responsibility. For example, the recent decision by the Supreme Court concerning campaign financing has placed the political system in the hands of the rich corporations of this country and corporations and other countries around the world. Our economic system leaves a lot to be desired. Most business decisions are based strictly on profit, and the employees of the company are simply tools to get the job done. There's no sense of loyalty to the employee in the workplace anymore. We are definitely turning in a society of the haves, having a little bit, and have-nots. The less we change the philosophy of our politics and our business practices it would not be recognizable 50 years. Throughout history the top-heavy political and economic system will eventually cause the demise in the government that supports the status quo. I'm hopeful things can change for the better we can have a political and economic system that has more balance, and more equitable than the one we have today.…

Samuel, I really enjoyed your post as I like hearing about other people’s family history since mine is so diverse. With your skin tone, eyes, and hair I can see why someone may say you look Hispanic. At least you take it in stride. Today, too many people get offended when someone calls them the wrong race or ethnic origin. It is really good that you continue your family’s tradition of cooking Greek and Italian dishes and I hope your children continue that. My family has been in this country so long and has so many nationalities in the mix that we have Southern traditions instead of a specific country. I do enjoy researching my family’s history. I do not have anyone famous in my family so far, but my great-great grandfather, Private John Henry Gwathney, did manage to survive the Civil War while serving under General Nathan Bedford Forrest.…

We should all have an education and all be bright students no matter how hard or how long something might take we students need to get off our butt and start working for what we want and start honoring others. Everyone should be able to have manners when they are spoken to and have respect and instead of going around harming others you should think before we act it will be for the greater good that is what my vision is for America and I will always stand to believe in this vision because I know that we all can make a difference and work harder to get where we need to be in life….Thank…

Ones Utopia is their view on what a perfect world would be. In my Utopia, the main concept I want to address is Liberty. Liberty is the freedom from control, interference, obligation, restriction, and hampering conditions according to choice (Merriam Webster). The word liberty can be traced back to the time period between 1325-1372; around the area of Middle English, Middle French, and Latin cultures (Merriam Webster). Liberty allows a society to be free of all government control. It allows the community to run the entire society the way they want it ran.…
