Along with being on the yearbook sales team I was also involved in Youth Court, a program in which first time juvenile offenders of minor crimes were given a second chance if they agreed to appear in front of a panel of Youth Court members, where we would decide what kind of community service they would do. I felt as if I was helping both these kids and my community a great deal, and I was heartbroken when my work schedule
made it so that I was unable to continue my final third year of service on the panels.
