Sometimes I’ll take criticism as a learning guide, but sometimes I’m too prideful to take in consideration some “harsh,” yet true criticism. For example if a teacher tells me that my writing was a little bit dull and I needed a couple of corrections, I’d take that criticism into consideration. But, if a teacher “harshly criticizes” something that took me a long time to do and I actually put my heart into it, I would get mad and think that the teacher doesn’t know what they’re talking about, because I feel like my work was done right. I eventually learn from criticism one way or another. But, I’ve learned, sadly the hard way, that the teachers who give you the “harshest criticism” are the ones who actually want to see excel in their class or future, and their the ones who tend to care about your well-being, and know you can do
