This event happens in recent days. I opened a new prepaid account in Sprint. And I checked online before I went to the store. There is 3 different month plan rate for prepaid customers, $35 bucks a month offer unlimited talk and text with 1 GB data, $45 per month with unlimited talk and text with 3 GB data and $55 dollars one month will unlimited talk and text with 6 GB data pack. I used to use AT&T prepaid account and the rate is $40 a month, I need to pay $43 with taxes and fees. So I considered Sprint as a cheaper one. And one day I drove to one store on Queens Boulevard. I went in the store and ask for someone to open a new prepaid account for me. The whole process was very convenient. It just takes 15 minutes at most and I don’t even to pay right now. The salesman told me they offer two different plans one is $45 with unlimited talk and text, 1GB internet data and the other is $60 totally unlimited. I only remember I want the one with 1GB internet data because I can use WiFi at home and on campus so I don’t need to pay more for extra data pack. The salesman got my information and gives me a new sim card. All I need is to wait for the bill comes and I can use the phone to call right now. Sounds good right? But when I setup my account online and several day pasts, I get my problem. I received a message for Sprint and my first bill’s amount is $109. I picked up my phone and dial the customer service number provided by Sprint. I tried to make customer service staff to adjust my bill, but I failed. I didn’t know the details and I got confused by the staff. She told me this number include $45 for unlimited text, talk and 1GB date, $36 activation fee, $11 equipment protection insurance and Sprint surcharges $8.78, government taxes and fees. At that time I only read the information about what I knew and there are also some charges like activation fee and insurance fee and taxes fees. I never
