I was mostly influenced by television shows. I often watch crime shows on my free time and since I can remember I was always intrigued by the idea of being a criminal investigator and solving crimes. I am currently taking Forensics Science, which has also had a major influence. Although I have my eyes set on being a criminal investigator, I have also always been intrigued by lawyers. Law has always fascinated me.

Then I would have to take the Law School Admission Test (LSAT), it would be submitted along with my law school application. The LSAT is used to assess reading, comprehension, reasoning and critical thinking skills. Then I would have to earn my Juris Doctor Degree; law schools typically last for three years and result in a Juris Doctor Degree. Law school consists of courses in constitutional law, property law, legal writing, contracts and torts. During my time in law school I will have the opportunity to participate in mock trials and attend legal clinics. Afterwards I want to have the opportunity to work for a law firm in order to gain experience and eventually it may lead to an employment offer after graduating law school.
