I have two daughters, one is in her last year of grade school and the other her first year of high school. To ensure they are well-rounded individuals I have put them in extra-curricula activities, such as gymnastics and swimming. As a mother I recognize the importance of being actively engaged in my daughters lives. With extra curricula activities there are practices and competitions on various days of the week, so on many days my days start early and end late. As a Dean of Girls I am constantly busy, never knowing what is going to occur from one day to the next with my students. I also have other duties at work like being the Coordinator of the Truancy Team, 9th grade transition Summer Bridge Program Coordinator and member of the On-Time graduation team during Night School, as well as some Saturdays. Lastly, my day ends with me logging into my computer and working on assignments once I put my children to bed. Homework assignments can take me into the wee hours of the night, but it is all in a days
