her doleful , so she decided that she was going to bury her brother because that's the best he deserves .Even talking to Creon ,he told Antigone that he couldn’t bury him because he was a trader to them . She buried her brother anyway because she wasn't going to leave them where he was because she loved him . She got caught burying her brother so Creon sent people for her so she will be punished . It states “Dear brother ! for that with these hands I paid “ (Sophocles 49). Having all of this happened at the end Antigone got killed because of what she had done so in doing that made her fiance kill himself because of the anger he had seeing her laying down their dead . Burying her brother and getting caught made her life get affected because she got killed .
Creon is the ruler of a small city called Thebes. He was a smug man who thought low of everyone and had little respect for them. During the end of the story he came across a situation that changed his outlook on life . He had Antigone die because she buried her brother , and had his son killed himself because of her death .Seeing his son lying on the ground dead next to Antigone made him realize the situations that he has been causing .”Alas,I faint for dread !Is there none will deal A thrust that shall lay medea” (Sophocles 70). Looking upon his son on the ground dead, he was sorrowful because he knew that it was him that made his son kill himself. This outcome of the situation made him realize that now he had nobody because of the foolish decisions that he had chosen to make .It changed his life because he didn’t think through the conquest and the sorrow others might feel when Antigone died until it finally happened and had to see his own son dead on the ground because of it .
Haemon was the father of Creon and engaged to Antigone .
He was a very wise man who was a considerable person . He was deeply in love with Antigone and wanted the best future with her like any other future couple would . When his father told him that he didn’t approve of him getting married to her he was very wrath with his father decision. He didn't want him to marry her because he thought that she was not good enough for him and because she was too much liker brother “the trader “. Haemon tried to prove to his father a certain amount of times that she was not who he thought she was like . Creon rejected his wishing and told him that it wasn’t going to happen and that's how it shall be left . Haemon found out that his father was the one who killed Antigone because she was caught burying her brother he was so enraged that his father would do something like that . “O son that wet mine,Ah ,ah, thou rtndead, thou art sped, for a fault that was mine “(Sophocles 68) He was going to kill his father because of it but didn’t and ended up killing himself for it
.
